今年的世界经济平台（World Economic Forum /WEF）年会主题全球新局势可以用 The New Global Context表示，政治、经济、社会、科技变化（political, economic, social and technological^{2 transformations3）改变着大家看待将来的方法。气候变化（climate change），政治动荡（political instability），全球性时尚疾病（pandemics），科技（technology），量化宽松政策（quantitative easing），收入不平等（income inequality），油价下跌（the tumble in the oil price）将成为重点议题。}

此次达沃斯平台（Davos Forum）与会人数革新高，来自140个国家的近2500 名代表将与会。达沃斯平台的官方微信号专门提及或有超越80位中国人（participation of over 80 Chinese）与会，李克强总理将在本次达沃斯年会上传递三方面要紧信息：包含对国际局势（international situation）、世界经济形势（global economy）与问题解决之道的怎么看，介绍中国经济形势，与阐释中方全方位深化改革开放的政策。
